Hello and Welcome!
Let’s start out by saying we are so excited that you are here today! Welcome to the launch of Koinonia and our very first blog post! We are so excited to share with you the Good News of the Gospel, Chrisitan Life Applications, and a community of Jesus-loving disciples to do life with. Our desire is to equip a community of authentic Christians who desire to live out the gospel in their lives, schools, places of work, and relationships.
Why we started Koinonia
During one of our contributor’s freshman year of college, she felt a calling from the Lord to write about Him in some capacity. She pushed off the urge because she felt ill qualified, ill prepared, and figured nobody would listen anyways. Fast forward a couple years, and the calling had grown until she could ignore it no longer. God had also put the idea of Koinonia in her heart, and she asked a few strong Christian women in her life to join her on this journey. They started meeting and talking through what their vision was for this venture, growing together, and continued learning how to pursue Christ in this world. A little more time passed, and here we are beginning this journey of writing for Christ in a world that so sorely needs to hear about the freedom, light, and peace found in the Gospel.
