It goes without saying that the most important resource we can point you towards is the Bible, but here are some resources we’ve enjoyed that are biblically based and super cool!
Bible Study Resources
This website allows you to refer to the original Greek or Hebrew words while you study scripture! This is great because this means we get to read the verses of the Bible in their original text, just as the writers would have intended. The interlinear concordance will also go through and define the words you’re looking at, and you can see in what other places these words occur in the Bible. BONUS: This is also available as an app!
The English Standard Version is quickly becoming the standard for Christians across the country and globe, and this website allows you to always have access when connected to the internet, save notes within the site, and access loads of supplemental content. BONUS: FREE subscription for students.
Free resources on Discipleship, Evangelism, Bible Study, Prayer, and even Daily Devotionals! Would highly recommend looking into the way the Navs study scripture, and the tools for sharing the gospel message.
This resource is written by Dr. Thomas L. Constable. It is all of his Bible Study notes Genesis-Revelation, and it can be a wonderful resource if you just cannot quite understand the meaning of a passage or verse. Again, this is not the infallible word of God, but these are great supplemental resources.
A good Study Bible
This is one of the best investments you can make. Study bibles are loaded with additional historical information, cross referenced verses, and commentary. At the beginning of each book, you will learn the historical context of the book, overarching themes, key passages, and much more pertinent information. Be careful not to read the commentary of the scripture with more weight than the scripture itself, but still such a solid way to grow your understanding of the Bible.
